Express Approvals is a free educational and comparison website about mortgages, refinancing, home equity, auto loans and personal loans.
About our name: "Express Approvals" is only the name of this educational website. It does not mean that any approval is guaranteed, pre-arranged or instant. Lenders alone decide whether to approve you, after reviewing your application.
What we do
- Explain how loans work in plain English, with links to official sources such as the CFPB, HUD, VA, USDA, FHFA and FTC.
- Publish national benchmark rates from Freddie Mac and the Federal Reserve, clearly labeled as averages, not offers.
- Offer free calculators that run in your browser.
- Link to lenders or comparison partners where you can request real offers. Some links may be paid; see our disclosure.
What we don't do
- We are not a lender, mortgage broker or loan originator, and we don't take loan applications.
- We don't make credit decisions, pre-approve anyone or guarantee approval, rates or terms.
- We never ask for your Social Security number, bank login or an upfront fee.
